A RARE .41 RIMFIRE FOUR-BARRELLED OVERCOAT PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
circa 1875, with squared 4 1/4in. barrel cluster of octagonal formed barrels, central plunge ejector (push piece absent from front), squared standing breech, central hammer with rotating nose of Sharps patent, open iron frame with push catch opening to the left hand side allowing the front hinged barrels to spring up, spur trigger and chequered bag-shaped wood grips with lanyard ring at heel, slight traces of nickel-plated finish
